Is the Maxi Fix compatible with electric bikes?
Yes, the Maxi Fix is designed to withstand the weight and stress of electric bikes. Its attachment system, inspired by our home trainers, ensures optimum stability even for heavy bikes.
Can I use it with wide tires or fat bikes?
Absolutely. The Maxi Fix fits all tire widths, including those of 2.40 MTBs and fat bikes.
Is Maxi Fix suitable for carbon road bikes?
Yes, the clamping system uses solid rubber pads that exert pressure on the rim, avoiding any direct contact with the frame, which is ideal for carbon wheels. The clamping system comes from our home trainer, so it's been tested with the lightest competition wheels on the market. Clamping is achieved by two solid rubber pads on the rim at the edge of the tire, opposite the rim body. This area of the wheel is particularly resistant.
How to fit it into a utility vehicle or van
The Maxi Fix is easily attached using the lashing rings on the vehicle floor. Its multiple openings allow straps to be passed through for secure fastening.
How much space is required for installation?
For 3- and 4-bike models, the width is 110 cm. In length, allow for the size of your bike plus 10 cm. You can reduce the length slightly by turning the handlebars to 30°.
